The Power of Testimonials

power-of-testimonialsWe all know testimonials kick butt when building crediblity with your potential clients, however because everyone knows this,

How can you stand out from the crowd and make your testimonial that little bit more special?

Here are a few ideas that will help:

Show off your work

Add some pictures. If you are a photographer - add images of your work. If you are a handy man - show photos of each renovation you have done beside the relating testimonial. Why not have a video walkthrough on a featured work you have done?

Prove it's a real person

Could you put up a photo of the person giving the testimonial as well as their name? How about adding their contact details and a note saying that these people are happy for you to contact them to find out more about the service you provided? Finally, could you capture them in a video saying how great you are?

Don't only put testimonials on a 'Testimonials' page

Why not put them everywhere?  Put testimonials on your Homepage, on your Services page (one for each service), and most importantly, one on your Contact page - where people are walking a fine line on whether to give you a call or not.

Don't limit testimonials to your website, include them in your email marketing, brochures and on business cards. Don't waste your years of hard work. Show off what you have with proof via testimonials.

Until Next Time.
