June - July 2007: iSonic Takes to the Air to Asia's Most Desperate Communities
In 2007, iSonic's owner Matt Jackson traveled to three separate orphanages surrounding Manila, Philippines to install and configure six computers and computer networks into the dormitories located there. The computers will open up a whole new world to the kids allowing them to use the Internet and increase their knowledge of the world that they live in. The computers will also dramatically increase their chances of getting a well-paid job and release them from the poverty and abuse they have experienced their entire lives.
In addition we also traveled to Cambodia and Thailand to meet and film the orphanages which have already been established and supported by Be A HERO Australia. The footage we will capture will be cut and edited by iSonic staff to be used for future promotional DVDs and flyer Handouts to attract more awareness of what children at risk are facing and ways to break the cycle of oppression.
